With the new year just began, I am hoping for a spirit of change... and in fact, I am doing it... I started doing it just this morning, when I slept at our office's sleeping lounge... somehow, I was able to sleep well though it's only 4 hours, but I deserve it. When I went home, I slept another two hours, and it's two hours shy of the normal eight hour period.
I also felt something in my back neck, and I suspect it's a symptom of either hypertension or just a normal back pain... As soon as I felt it, I became irritable, and I was scared. But I was determined to do something as a spirit of change... perhaps I refrain from eating fatty foods, or by simply eating too much. I will have to set an appointment with a doctor to ask opinion from them. This could be a setback for me, but I'm confident I can get through it.

I took my new keyboard home!

Today has been a great day for me. My elder brother arrived early in the morning from Manila, and I finally took my new keyboard home, after more than a month of being held out in the store. I am happy because finally, I can do whatever I want musically; however, I am also worried, because I have to pay my credit card balance starting next month, which was used to pay the remaining balance for the keyboard. Anyway, the price is worth it, and I'm liking it so far. Do you wanna know what the keyboard brand and model is? It's Roland Juno-D - it's an entry level synthesizer. It features a sleek-looking, slim-built black steel chassis and it's lightweight, so I can easily bring it with me wherever I go. Aside from that, it comes with a sustain pedal, a keyboard stand, and a custom-made bag. Like I said, I'm liking it so far, right from the get-go. However, I have to read the user manual to really familiarize the functions and unleash the sonic power of this keyboard.

Overture 2008: Doing things that you love most!

I've just finished my wedding gig with siblings Allen Dale (pictured) and Arniel... they were both very talented singers... (I tried to sing but I can't, LOL). But I would like to commend them for the job well done and for their dedication during practice sessions... despite of the fact that our schedules are hectic, but we're able to pull it off. To their credit, I named our trio as A3 (pronounced as A-Cube), because our first names start with letter A. Anyway, this is my first side project as a keyboardist for 2008, and I'm hoping for a handful of side projects in the future.
To me, this is a great avenue for me to be noticed, to be known, and to live up to my potential. This is just a stepping stone for the things to come in the future. Though I could say that this is just a small event, but somehow, it would enable me as a musician to be creative, and to utilize my entire arsenal. This is also a diversion for me, and I'd like to focus the bulk of my time and energy, besides my work as a call center agent. All I want is to be inspired on what I do, and do the things that I really love most. I remember my brother told me via a phone call this very similar quote. DOING THINGS THAT YOU REALLY LOVE MOST! I don't want to grow old without living up to my potential!

May my very first post at blogger.com set the tone for more postings to come, and this will serve as a mean to express myself.
